This trip means so much more to me than just going to represent my school. My Grandma Nancy always told me and my brothers how very important education was. She would sit and tell us stories of all the great places she got to go to with her education. She always told me that education would take me anywhere I could imagine. Not only do I get the experience of a lifetime, I can also earn a High School credit for taking this trip.

My Grandma passed away last year from Cancer. I would like to go on this trip in Honor of her.

Get outfitted with snorkel gear for an underwater adventure in Fort DeSoto State Park! Snorkel along the shores and examine the effects of exotic plants and animals on an ecosystem.
Come back to the surface and take a boat ride through three experimental growing areas

launch of Apollo 8 at Kennedy Space Center. Enjoy lunch with a
real astronaut and ask questions about personal experiences
in space. Don't miss this incredible journey! You will also experience
watching the Space Shuttle launch as it takes one of it's last launches ever!
 
and ecological communities at Disney's Epcot (Later, go behind the scenes at SeaWorld) and explore the issues surrounding the protection and preservation of the endangered coral reef habitats.
